Our life consists of meetings and moments, turning moments, which once and forever change your life and it identifies whom we will become. My life has changed when I came in Istanbul. Since the first day this city took my heart. It combines two features: modernity and the adherence to traditions.
Tourists` attractions and cultural places are not the things that changed my life. You know, the most important point is meeting new people and communicating with them. In the 2 weeks of my stay in here, I went for a walk with my friends from Turkey and Russia. We did not know where our friend Begyum would catch us, but when we arrived, we were tired to death. We were in Maltepe district in one of the cafes, where it was live music and the boy sang touching songs. Our table was near the window, through which we could see night view of Istanbul. The cafe was crowded. Everyone was waiting for something. And then the boy began singing, and everyone sitting in this café sang with him. This magic, this spirit of happiness, sadness, solidarity and emancipation embraced me, and even without knowing Turkish language, I began sing the songs. I was full emotions that evening. My soul was singing, enjoying. That meeting changed my inner world. I do not know how to explain it, but at that moment I got emotional balance, happiness of my soul. The other things like my behavior, my values has changed.
My passion for foreign languages has increased significantly. And my childhood dream of travelling all over the world with living in one country at least for two weeks again reappeared in my soul. This dream was a clue which I lost in last 4 years. I think now I'm happy because I know what I want from life and what I should strive. And happiness is what my future plans coincide with the desires of my heart. And I'm sure, I'll get it.
