My Scholarship entry - A story of food distribution in Uganda
Uganda | Monday, November 24, 2014 | 5 photos
I think the photography is one of the best ways how to express my feeling or views on what is happening around me. I am a creative person who is always ready for any adventure. I'm not afraid of new challenges whether it's sports or mind. That is reason why I could participate in a project in Uganda. And along with other young students, who won the competition in the project, I had the opportunity to shoot a food distribution in Uganda. It was an amazing experience to get to know a completely different culture, and have the opportunity to photograph their daily lives, which often is challenging to survive. Uganda is still one of the countries, where many people do not have enough food to have good quality of life. But through the efforts of of the population the situation is changing for the better. And I am very glad that our photographs depicting daily life food distribution since cultivation to consumption will be exposed on the EXPO 2014 in Milan. It means that my pictures can spread views of many people in developed world in issue of food distribution in the developing world. And that is what photography should be. Be able to show stories around us, without any words.
