About siji
My name is Lasekan Olusiji Adebola. I am 30 years old. I am
a student of Masters of English Studies,studying in Jain University in India.
Writing and teaching of English language are my passion. I had my bachelor
degree from a Nigerian University in 2007.I did my one year youth service in Abuja, where I worked
as a Sales Executive in a medical engineering company. I migrated to Malaysia in
the year 2009 where I worked as an English teacher for 2years..Over the years,
I have been opportune to teach and relate with people from different countries
such as Malaysians, Iranian,Sudanese,Chinese,Indians and many more
As a student of English Studies,I have been exposed to different
form of writings such as creative writing,rhetoric writing and indian writings
in English. The only form of writing that I have not explored is travel writing.
This travel writing scholarship will increase my job prospect in the area of journalism.
Since the world is becoming a global village.it is getting easier to move from
one country to another.Therefore,the future of travel writing industry is
bright.
If I am given this scholarship, I will not have problem in
executing all my task during the programme. Having been nominated for the
British Council youth work project. I had an experience in implementing project
in the area of education,environment,health and other developmental programmes.
