I am thankful each day that I was born a human being and not a tree. To do justice to the being I am, I refuse to stay at one place or on one road for too long. If there is only one long, straight road to what we consider "success", I would rather not follow it. Life is meant to be a sixty layered cake of five hundred different flavors. My philosophy to life is to follow a meandering path, taking time to smell flowers and see butterflies along the way. Hey, we may never reach the 'top' that everyone so desperately desires but at the end, we will have won a heart filled with unforgettable memories.
