Mood: Bad - still in Birmingham, UK.
Travelling is quite a selfish thing to do and it's a very privileged thing to do, I'm very grateful for the opportunity.
As such extended travel has environmental and social consequences I've donated to WaterAid, the Children's Safe Home Project in Rajbari, Bangladesh and the Rape and Sexual Violence Project in Birmingham. This won't save the world but remembering there are other people in the world, not just my ego, balances me out a little when all I can think about is "me and travel, me and travel" chugging along like a choo-choo train in my head.
I've realised this blog thing doesn't have a spell-check so prepare for some school-boy errors (Dean!)
