ALL IS NOT LOST YET - Risks are running high as global warming levels skyrocket, putting the last true natural reserve left in this world in great danger. However, Polar explorer and founder of 2041 Robert Swan wasn't just about to watch from far, accepting a purpose of creating champions around the world who will fight for Antarctica to be left in its pristine condition the way it is. In order for these champions to truly know what they were fighting for, a more hands on experience, a true bond was required which is why every year, he leads young people from all over the world to Antarctica to create future leaders who'll accept their mission to fight for The Last True Great Wilderness on Earth when the Antarctic Treaty System is up for negotiation in 2041. We are making a stand, all is not lost yet. There's still hope for humanity.

NOT ALL CHANGE IS GOOD -

It's like a gunshot in pin drop silence when the ever calm atmosphere of Antarctica is shredded apart every now and then these days when large chunks of ice break off into the water. Although billed as a natural phenomenon by scientists, day by day, the rate at which the ice is breaking now is counter productive as there is little to no time in recovering that lost ice before the next big 'break'. What I've captured here is a part of the Larsen B ice shelf that broke off in 2002, which is one of the largest break offs known to recent humankind. Experts suggest that this was due to series of warmer summers in Antarctica and that, is a clear heads up to Climate Change.
