Creating any dish fills me with a deep sense of caring. I connect to people through food and I love how it brings people together. Every nationality has its specialties and preferences but we all come together at the table. Desserts especially bring a smile to everyone's face. My petite cheesecake creations are a twist on a decadence that dates back to the original Olympic Games (although they were unsweetened cheesecake used as fuel for the athletes). I make a variety of flavours like Lemon Meringue, Mayan Chocolate, Creme Brûlée as well as Petite Savoury Cheesecake such as Smoked Salmon with Spanish onion and dill, Habanero Caper, Balsamic Beet with Fennel. I love creating but my favourite is the Sea Salt Dulche de Leche cheesecake. From the oatmeal chocolate base, creamy chocolaty filling, Dulche do Leche cream to the Sea Salt finish, this petite cheesecake represents layers of flavours in one perfect petite package. A little goes a long way with this dessert.
