I have submitted five pictures of a series of photographs taken of rooftops in Yazd in Iran. This marvelous city which is located at the heart of the desert brings an ancient labyrinth to mind. The architectural feature of the city is so outstanding that I decided to focus my camera on this aspect of the city. I let my camera capture the time and the memory of the far past lived lives rather than picturing the living ones. These rooftops enfold the story of my descendants. Their dome-like design metaphors the sky, which embraces us all. I consider myself connected with shadow of these past lives.
