I live to explore our world and share its ever expansive essence through photographs. I believe if we all viewed the world through a positive lens, we could lead ourselves and the world into a contagious space of peace. My images often capture that peace in unlikely environments.

My first adventure with my camera was to Kenya in college. After the best month of my life sleeping in slums and eating bugs, I knew I had found my path. While flying back home, I promised myself I would do everything it takes to travel and share beautiful stories of truth.

Since my trip to Kenya, I’ve traveled to over 20 countries with finding odd jobs and fundraising. Each experience allows me to fall in love with taking pictures all over again. Photography is a way for me to connect with the world, it’s the perfect medium for my curiosity.

As I save for my next adventure, dreaming of finding freedom through photography gets me through my 8 hour day job. This learning experience would give me the professional edge to discover how a true assignment is carried out. I’m so eager to grow as a photographer and feel this experience is my next step towards my life goal!
