Living the rocky lifestyle in Jasper.

Jasper, AB

After leaving Jasper last summer in 2012 I was under the impression I was done with Alberta, and I could move on to bigger, better things. Unfortunately the rocky lifestyle is extremely addictive and luring. The consumption of whiskey, nicotine, and cheap beer always comes out on top in this Albertan oasis, and I find it difficult to avoid going to the "bar" each passing Sunday. Thankfully my accomodations make that more possible than last summer, although I've had some difficulty dealing with a particular companion life has been great to me and my job is something I enjoy very much. My goal for the remainder of June and July is to focus on the more adventorous aspects of living in the Rockies, potentially hiking the surplus of mountains we have the privilege of waking up and seeing each passing morning.
