Hi i am shaylene saltner I'm 17 years old , i have recently graduated from high school im an indigenous Australian and I have wanted to do photography but never got the opportunity because finance was and still is a big factor and the school I went to didn't have a photography class. I am a outgoing person, I love to meet new people and make new friends, I like to learn new things everyday. I think as an a young indigenous Australian having an unbelievable opportunity like this scholarship, will show my younger generation to follow your dreams and I want to make something of myself and to make my family, the elders and friend proud of me.
