To say I am more worthy of all the fine filmmakers who have put countless hours constructing videos for the hopes of being sent to Central America would be unfair. I believe in all of you to spread a message you feel deeply important or interesting, and to never become discouraged. I am a passionate, 26 year old film graduate who fills his life with the curiosity of understanding the world we live in. By being an open mind, with an open heart, I wake up each day to live with kindness, patience, and communicate stories through my visual passion. Being chosen to cover Dia de Los Muertos would be honor, and it would be a generous foot in the door to discovering the world through visual journalism & interacting with those who are brave enough share their stories. I wish everyone one here could participate, as all of us would discover San Luis Potosi in his/her own light & angle. But this being an opportunity for only one, maybe two of us, I hope to deliver a film unlike any in comparison, and to allow my film to inspire & represent Dia de Los Muertos in its magnitude with all respect to those who have passed & living with remembrance. I’ll cover the big picture, but also search for those with miracles to tell, tales of romance, adventure, and supernatural. Above all, I hope to spread & cultivate an illuminating energy for those to attract & extend while I am present in my mission.
