    Venice is home to the picture-esque canals, romantic gondolas, and colorful buildings. Here two gondoliers tie up their gondolas to take a break from the crowds and relax. Views[803] An open-air market, Campo di Fiori, is home to many tables of Italians selling their freshest fruit and vegetables. No matter rich or poor, native or tourist, everyone comes to this market to either buy food or watch common scenes of life unfold. A woman carefully selects only the best blood oranges for herself. Views[725] An elderly man cuts up artichokes, a popular food among Romans. I watched as he spent hours deligently, quietly perfecting their shape.
