A 'place' I have visited
Guyana | Friday, July 5, 2013 | 5 photos
I am an emerging photojournalist that has had a passion for social and environmental issues around the world. I've been passionate about photography since I graduated in 2009 from Loyalist's Photojournalism program. Since then, I've attended workshops at both the VII and Magnum workshops to learn more about pitching and discovering new ideas about telling stories.
While at Loyalist, I decided to spend time traveling and telling stories, which brought me to the 100Eyes workshop help by Andy Levin to document the ever changing lifestyle of the people of New Orleans. From then, I traveled to San Cristobal and did a story on people he treats in and surrounding the city that do not have health care. Lastly, I showed my work in Guyana where they are currently All of these projects have worked on, on my own and I am looking forward to keep progressing as a photographer with National Geographic. I am continually looking to progress and hone my skill and would welcome an opportunity to work closely with a well established photographer one on one. I would use this opportunity at a lesson in my career moving forward. Hopefully the Australian time difference has not hurt my chances!
