My Photo scholarship 2010 entry
Australia | Tuesday, August 10, 2010 | 4 photos
These photos were taken at my parents farm. They were taken with a manual film SLR camera. they show the hilly green landscape that is the Adelaide Hills as well as the diversity of animals on the farm including dogs and cows. The fact that the farm is surrounded by grape vines really emphasizes why the Adelaide Hills is called 'Adelaide's wine region'. The same colour pallet links these photos while the sun light emanates a soft calm effect.
I'm currently studying visual communications (graphic design) at uniSA and my lecturers constantly stress the importance of composition. I love to travel and to experience interesting cultures and places. Not only would i take away valuable photography skills and experiences from this scholarship, but would return with experiences and memories of another part of the world that will open my eyes to the sheer diversity of both human culture and landscapes that make this planet interesting.
Thanks,
Shaun Mercier
