Kia Ora (Hello) My name is Shannon I am 28yrs old from the north island of New Zealand. 2.5yrs ago I left my job as an adventure cave guide in Waitomo, NZ. Since then I have been following my heart and letting it take me to some amazing parts of the country and world which usually involves horses in some way. Horses have always been apart of my life and am really enjoying learning how capture them through the lens. I love the emotions and feelings that can be captured from a photograph, to me it is one of the best moments is when you look at a photograph and emotions/feelings or memories come flooding in. I only hope and aspire to create such photographs to share with others. If I am chosen for this amazing adventure I know that it will enable me to express such emotions through more of my photographs.
