We have landed in Asia! Our flights Ottawa-Toronto and Toronto-Tokyo went off without a hitch. Our 12.5 hour flight was actually pretty enjoyable - we had a row of 3 seats to ourselves which gave us extra room to stretch out and an extra pillow & blanket. Score. Neither of us napped very much, and we certainly didn't eat very much. The food really fit the airplane food stereotype (ew). We were in blinding daylight the entire way here. We have been traveling 22 hours and are now waiting for our last 6 hour flight Tokyo-Hanoi, Vietnam. Safe to say we are pretty exhausted (and feeling a little delirious) and can't wait to arrive at our bed in Hanoi! We've both had about 5 hours of sleep in 40 hours - oof.
