The irony of the sign is that although it may keep human passerby from going in, it hasn't kept nature out. Slowly the surrounding woods have taken over.

I grew up in the middle of the woods in New Hampshire. This abandoned red farmhouse and barn provided me with countless hours of entertainment, despite my dad's efforts to keep me out.
