Read to travel or travel to read?

I am a journalist by profession and it's a high pressure, so whenever I get a chance - a long weekend in most cases, I travel. It could be anywhere - spending the New Year's Eve in a nonchalant town in solitude; exploring the wine tasting tours of India (yes, they have several here!); waking up at 5 am and driving to the Marina beach to see the sun rise.; or standing across the mighty Suru river in Kargil, watching it flow with time in silence.

And with me travels my 3-year-old Nikon D3100 which captures some of the most memorable moments from the places I visit. It helps me revisit the place when I'm down.
