There truly is something for everyone in
Las Vegas; from the notorious nights of gambling and drinking to shooting a
semi-automatic rifle to riding on the roller coaster and time spent in an
arcade playing old-school games in New York, New York.
Let’s forget about the "Hangover"-esque sin
city adventures we all know about for a moment.
This past January, I got tired of the cold,
harsh Canadian winter and decided to elope to Las Vegas for a week. Being a nature
lover, I simply had to drive to the Grand Canyon and Red Rock Canyon for a hike.
Yes, that is snow on the photos. Did I
mention I was trying to escape winter? That’s quite alright though as the
temperature in the city was warm enough to make me forget about the
irony of this.
Back on the strip, there was still plenty
of time for free drinks while I played the slots, a very entertaining David
Copperfield show and hours walking around trying to experience everything the
city has to offer.
I know a trip to Las Vegas would not be worth
mentioning if one did not partake in a little excessive partying. That part of
my trip will definitely stay in Vegas.
