Fishermen in Impossible Beach
Indonesia | Friday, July 5, 2013 | 5 photos
Impossible Beach is a very important surfing point on the world and is located in the village of Pecatu, South Kuta District, Badung Regency and Bali province – Indonesia.
Althought the surf it is clearly the winner to catching pictures from tourists, what really impressed me about the place it was not the surf at all.
Close to sunset, the local fishermen goes through the shore from the awesome Indian Ocean for fishing the shoaling that remains from the low tide. They use to be a dozens and they share the places for the best catches, later complete families come to take the rest that ocean left them on the nude seashore.
There is a tradicional fishing way similar to hundreds years ago where handmade fishing nets and live baits are the main tools. I had the great and unique opportunity to be well received next them on process of fishing and understood that patience it is indeed a great virtue.
