About self-awareness

 I was only a psychology student, interested in art, expression and photography. But then I started to volunteer, to actively participate in actions and programs, first in the local and then in international level. My passion for photography was following me in every international movement. After all these experiences, it became clear to me, I found my purpose in life! After completing my bachelor degree this year I will travel in the developing part of the world. I want to be a volunteer in Africa, Asia or Latin America and use photography as my “weapon” in order to raise awareness and empathy all around the globe about other cultures and circumstances… for a better world, for OUR better world and for our better world as a UNITY! So, I definitely need to take photography lessons first. Let alone, if my teacher is well-experienced both as traveler and photographer!  These are the reasons why this scholarship is like once in a lifetime opportunity, because it is exactly what I am looking for and I can realize both of my dreams! I will develop my skills as a photographer while at the same time I could start my new lifestyle as a volunteer from Latin America at the end of this experience!
