I like a day on my Xbox and a night on the town as much as any of my peers. Something I like more though, is a day hill walking with a night wild camping!

During my childhood I was fascinated by the tales of explorers like Ernest Shackleton, James Cook, Christopher Columbus... As I've gotten older I've wanted to go and see the places my heroes had discovered. I haven't been able to finance my travel's yet and winning a travel scholarship to the Peruvian Amazon would get me off to a perfect start. Photography is my main hobby, I always carry a camera with me because when I see a great sight I want to capture it then share it with the world. Being Jason Edwards prodege would benefit my photography skills unbelievably.

I've recently chosen to work in the village of Edale far from my home but in England's Pennines where I still feel at home. I've gotten involved with the local mountain rescue team and I spend all my spare time hiking and doing photography. It would mean more to me than anything to do those things in the Peruvian Amazon with Jason. Plus to be helping the research in biodiversity would make me feel beyond proud. To be able to call myself a World Nomad too will be mega!
