DiveTheWorld Right, here goes. Unlike many of you out there, this is not a journal of someone taking Weeks/Months/Years to travel the globe. I work full-time in the UK and get away when I can. However, I’ve hit a crossroads in life and am thinking of taking the plunge…soon! So, I thought I would start this journal from when the seed was planted.

My family, going back only 3 generations were ‘’Tinkers’’ or perhaps better known today as Gypsy’s. I think now that I’ve hit a crossroads in my life the travelling gene in me is stirring up my imagination and telling me it’s now or never to hit the road and do some serious travelling (diving) around the world. I am 37, have worked full-time as a Paramedic in Scotland for the last 10 years and think it’s time to take a well earned sabbatical. If they’ll let me!
