My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited
United Kingdom | Monday, June 24, 2013 | 5 photos
I'm a 21 year old committed photographer, currently studying documentary photography. I integrate photography into every aspect of my life, it's a way I can combine interests and has been my form of expression throughout my life. I have travelled across Asia, Iceland, Europe and Morocco in search of new projects. I have created work around issues such as waste management, social contrast and inter religious practice. Greenland is a stunning place undergoing so much change both good and bad, it would be amazing to get the chance to document it before it changes even more.
I am very physically fit, strong willed and highly motivated, I love connecting with as many people as possible, I am also extremely resourceful. I have followed NatGeo for a long time and look up to everyone involved in such an amazing organisation, It would truly be a privilege to be mentored by Jason. His work on environmental issues and with indigenous people is the kind of work I aspire to create.
This would be an incredible opportunity for me to learn in such an intense environment, I welcome criticism and advice and love to consistently better myself. This would open up doors in my ideal career path.
