Crossed into Serbia today. Well the right shore is Croation and the left Serbian. As I came from Hungary no landing on the right shore or even getting close. The Serbian government, via the harbour master, charged me 70 Euro transit charge for my Kayak today. We were not amused. Apparently I can use it till the end of the year. Its good for several transits till the end of the year. Fat chance...
However, the transit papers now carry size, colour, name etc of my diminuitive vessel and I made the rank of Captain. Almost worth another half of water melon.
Pitched my tent on a beautiful beach. Nicer night skies only to be had on Gibraltar or Tarifa (Spain - at least some of it).
