My name’s Lauren, I live in small town Australind, 2 hours south of Perth.
I work at a small photography business, editing images. I’ve started shooting small portraits with assistance & studying a diploma in photography. I still have a LOT to learn and it would be the most amazing opportunity to learn from such a talented & experienced photographer like Jason Edwards.
I went on my first trip out of W.A to Indonesia in 2012. I had the time of my life enjoying their rich culture.
I’m confident using professional gear. I understand manual setting. I would love the opportunity to creating meaning in my photos amongst a contrasting culture where beauty is prominent! I envy work I see online, especially the shots of Africa’s beautiful animals & that’s what keeps me on track to achieving my goal & being THAT photographer.
I want to be known for taking photos that no one else has taken. I must know how to pack photos with emotion & depth. This is what I need/hope to learn.
I’m 18 with a passion for photography, a love of all animals, an interest in contrasting cultures, and an ambition to learn and grow!
I hope my application is enough to be joining you on your exciting trip to Oman!
