Coastal Crash

Now we’re stranded in the Bahamas. This was supposed to be the ultimate girls’ trip. This is all Stacey’s fault. She is so immature. The minute I calm down I'll figure this out. The first thing she’s gonna say is it’s not her fault. She’ll blame Cpt. Smith for coming on to her. She’ll never take responsibility for us being shipwrecked. How could she sleep with a man she just met? Cpt. Smith, is something else, coming on to my friend when he should have been driving the yacht. I wonder if he even knows exactly where we crashed. Now Nia’s birthday is ruined. Not to mention he’s wrecked Tiffany’s yacht. He is so old what does Stacey even see in him? It sure is getting dark pretty quickly.
“Guys think we should look around, try to find shelter?” Paco asked as if he had read my mind. I replied, “I think so”. He and I started walking when Tiffany yelled out, “The cabins on the yacht aren’t wrecked we can still sleep in there”. Stacey said with a sigh of relief, “Thank goodness! I’m going to bed now”. She walked off, but Nia pulled her back saying “Everybody sit down! We need to have a talk. What’s going on with all of you?” Paco and Cpt. Smith wandered off as we talked. As we all sat down on the sand Tiffany blurted out, “I have breast cancer. I’ve known for a month”. We all sat in shock as Tiffany began to cry and we tried to comfort her. Then I decided since we were sharing I should tell them the truth about me and Hunter. I took a deep gulp and said, “If it makes you feel better, I’m sterile. I can’t have kids and that’s why Hunter was so abusive”. Tiffany slowly raised her head and replied, “No Raven that definitely does not make me feel any better. Do not blame yourself for that jackass. He was always abusive; it is not your fault”.
We already knew Stacey’s situation so there was nothing for her to say. We all sat there in tears. Stacey must have gotten tired of hearing us cry so she got up to go for a swim. That made me angry so I yelled, “You are so insensitive!” She kept walking away though. Then Nia blurted out, “My birthday is ruined, all this arguing, this drama, and we’re stranded”. Tiffany and I stared at her and whispered simultaneously, “We’re sorry Nia”.
We all gathered ourselves, found Stacey, Paco and Cpt. Smith and headed back to the yacht. We salvaged everything we could from the wreckage then climbed up the side of the yacht to crawl through an open window. Although the yacht was leaning we slept comfortably in our beds.
