I began my journey of learning more about photography when I got my first DSLR camera on 2009. My Canon 1000D was my grandfather’s graduation (grade school) gift for me and, as I entered High School, I auditioned for the school’s newspaper photo staff. It was pretty much the only organization, which is into photography. So I took the opportunity and I was able to get in. As a freshmen in the staff, I was given equal assignments as the rest and I took each assignment given to me as a chance to practice more on my first love and to showcase the skill that I have that was given to me by our almighty Father. I believe that there were so many things to learn as more assignments were given to me, I urge to become better.

Given the chance to be the scholar for this year, I will do everything in my power to surpass the expectation and to give my all in the trip and the work afterwards. Just like when I got in the Photo Staff, I don’t know what to do but with my drive to give the best, I will and I can produce great results. That’s just a part of my work ethics and my love of photography but I do hope that I can share more of what I have and myself with you.
