An ABLE Seaman salutes the Australian flag over the crowd as he stands proud during the ANZAC day ceremony held every year in front of the mini war memorial based on the beautiful esplanade of the renowned navy town of cairns.

Australian Navy sailors march proud along the esplanade of their popular touristy tropical north queensland town/home (cairns) for their country and in memory of those fallen. Every year on the 25th of April i wake up before the sun to join the men and women and honour them as they have made more sacrifices for my country that is fair.

The medal on the left side of the photo is the Australian service medal, awarded for peacetime operations and the medal on the right side is the Four year service medal, awarded to all military personnel for committing part of their lives to the protection of their country and loved ones.
