    Finally the masses arrive & New Year's Day at Bondi Beach is well underway. Views[233] Before the crowds arrive, the volunteer lifesavers ignore their hangovers & set up the beach to make sure Bondi's thousands of visitors have a safe trip to the beach. Views[429] Others head out into the ocean to shake off the cobwebs with a swim or a surf. Views[146] Once the sun is up, the party people are gradually replaced with a healthier crew sweating it out with a soft-sand run to start their New Year. Views[169] The entertainment begins at first light. There are those still partying, some with new friends, many with old friends, some swimming, many to see the first sun rise of the year & others, like these guys, sleeping. Views[174]
