My friend Randy had a secret. He didn’t want to tell me about his three months experience in Amazonia. He decided to leave Peru and to start a new life in Australia. Why Randy, that is such an outgoing person, became so silent when I was asking about that land?
“I’m passionately curios” (as Einstein says) so I often think about his secret. Which world is there?
I’m Sara and I usually work as Italian teacher for foreigners. This job allowed me to travel(Spain, Turkey, Australia, Sri Lanka). But I understood that what I love of my job is not teaching, but meeting people and learning about their story. So I decided to take some lessons from an old photographer of my village. Taking photos is what I was looking for: tell the story of people and places. I believe that everywhere there’s a poetry, but I can't describe it just with words. Humans need to use also other senses, to light their imagination.
So this is the great opportunity to believe more in my potentiality and in my eyes. I want to know how to express myself and how to speak about my adventures, the adventure of life, trough photography. I need to learn a lot. I’d like to grow up this passion of telling.
