My name is Santiago Espinoza. Im a 22 year old Quito- Ecuador born. Im a climber, a traveler and an outdoor educator/guide. Three years ago I moved to BC, Canada to pursue a career in adventure. The mountains, the wind, the rivers and rocks have become my classroom, my inspiration my passion.
I started traveling at a young age, and I haven't stopped since. Over the past years Ive been to over 16 different countries in Asia, South and North America and Europe. Picking up a camera to document my adventures to share with others seemed something logical to me. Now, Im fully committed to document through photographs the adventure of travelling and traveling for adventure.
My first steps as a photographer where taken under the instruction of Pat Morrow, world renown adventure photographer. Some of my photographs have been published in magazines such as Rock and Ice, and used for advertising and promotional campaigns for Tatoo Adventure Gear.
The photo scholarship to Greenland will allow me to continue developing as a photographer so one day I can achieve my dream of becoming a world- known professional adventure, lifestyle and travel photographer.
