Nubian home visit
Egypt | Tuesday, November 8, 2011 | 5 photos
I went on a grand trip last year, filled with adventure and discovery. One of my favorite places was Egypt, once you head downwards from Cairo and into the ‘real’ Egypt, there was such an amazing wealth of culture, color and beauty. My wife and I where always on the quest to mingle with the locals and try to experience life as they would. One particular night, after meeting ‘Kanye’ on one of our boat trips, he invited us to come have dinner with his cousin’s family in a nearby Nubian village. We tracked by boat and then Camel, and shared a meal and an insight to living on the edge of the desert. It was a gorgeous evening full of stories, laughter and amazing scenery.
After my trip last I have been bitten by the travel bug and I have been taking every opportunity I can to capture images through my lens I am trying to change this to stories. My dream job would be a travel photographer. I will do whatever it takes to learn and capture great imagines that work together and an opportunity to learn from such an amazing photographer would be a dream come true.
