My name is Sam, I create television commercials for a living but i enjoy nothing more than travelling and taking photos. I find that i need to travel to different places and explore to keep photography interesting. I enjoy diving deep into culture when i travel and trying to capture images that people have not seen before.
Although i hardly consider myself a 'Professional' photographer I still feel that i create high quality images and would reap great benefit from an opportunity like this. I would love to pick Jason's brain and take any advice to further myself.
My photo's that I am submitting are from a surfing trip to South Sumatra in May this year. I had alot of fun getting the shots in between surfing but found it hard to drag the group around to places to get shots when i was the only photographer. I have since been looking into photography trips with like minded people.
Although I'm sure you'll get thousands of amazing entries what i can promise you is a hard working passionate photographer who will be happy to get in, get dirty and get the shot. I'm an easy going guy and would appreciate the opportunity for the rest of my life as a dream come true.
