My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

Worldwide | Sunday, November 6, 2011 | 5 photos

Respected Sir,
I, Samir Madhani, an electronics engineer, love to see the culture change with every milestone while I am on a road trip and to expect the unexpected when in woods.
Ever since I have started working which is immediately after my graduation, I have invested all my financial earnings and time in travel and photography.
I have accomplished a few road trips running across the state boundaries in India, have explored over 5 national parks in India and just recently got back from Masai Mara, Kenya where I had gone to photograph The Great River Crossing of Wildebeests along with Big cats. All of the above stated has kept me coming back for more and speaks for the love I share for Travel and Photography.

I feel at ease and at equilibrium when I am making photographs. I am so passionate about photography that every 2 months I take a break from work in order to make a photography trip which lasts for about a week. I feel this is the best way to distress and connect with myself.
Looking at my last one year’s travel it will not be wrong to say, “When I am not in office, in woods”.

Often in my free time, I surf the Internet going through various photo-journals, blogs, etc. I appreciate and take lessons from the above stated.

The want to, make photographs that narrate stories and living by the belief, “The day we consider we have delivered our best, we die as a learner”, keeps me going.
Giving credits to my open mindset to learn and to appreciate critics, I am sure your assistance will further take me places and provide me with a push to make a career in photography.

Regards,
Samir.
