Piccolo Bar in Kings Cross is one of the oldest and most famous cafes in Sydney. It has become the last ‘bohemian’ heartland of the city. Its owner of 50 years Vittorio Bianchi has become a Kings Cross institution with petitions floating around the city for there to be a statue to honor him in Kings Cross.
