My Scholarship entry - A "place" I have visited

I am your not so typical South African mom who thrives off the beauty around me which I try to to capture through a lens. I always have my camera ready to store the moment, a moment which some take for granted. I am self taught and have always wanted to take my photography to another level but have never felt I could but know that I should.
Of course this is a trip of a lifetime for any budding photographer but for me it is also a chance to learn from the best and become the best! Who could ask for anything more? Once I have expanded my knowledge it would only be beneficial to pass this on to those less fortunate than me and to put my little town Knysna on the "world wide map." I know that by doing this I will be able to create beautiful memories people will want to look at.
