Although only living in Jakarta for a year and a half I find that this place, is my love, my life and my home. My family still lives in this bustling town enabling me to come back to this crazy city filled with plenty of character. Jakarta is filled with traffic, pollution, rubbish and more traffic however, every lane, alley and road holds something so distinct and special to the city that makes it, what it is. To me, Zebra Stripes represent the nooks and crannies that characterize not only Jakarta but Indonesia.
