After an awful start (first flight cancelled,second flight
overbooked, third flight delayed due to a strike at the airport, almost missed
the connected flight in Delhi because of the chaotic circumstances) I finally
arrived in India-Chennai! I got picked up by my boss from the airport and we
drove to Mamallapuram. Even though it's just 65km away from Chennai it took us
almost 2 hours... Well think it's almost enough to gve you an impression about
the brilliant traffic conditions....
Well,I'm still living with my boss, because my apartement is
not ready yet. I was supposed to move in last Tuesday, then today and now maybe
the 4th of July. MAYBE!
Things I like: The food, especially the fruits!!! Yummy!!!
And the weather. People are really friendly but also stupid (most of them). I
don't like the circumstances in the streets. Lots of dirt, rubbish, cows(the
cows are somehow cute but the drop big pooooooos everywhere!!). Nice beach, if
you ignore the dirt, shit, fishing boats and nets.
And i Hate mozzies!!!!! It's my new hobby: killing Mozzies
with an electric tennis racket!!! :-)
Sorry, for the mistakes, little bit in a rush, because you
never know how long the power will last...
