Pondering

So I leave bonnie Scotland tomorrow to get a little taste into life as a solo traveller. I hope this will be the start of many adventures. I've had to download all dad's music onto my ITouch as leaving the trusty IPhone behind. This means that my ITOuch is now full of The Carpenters, Glee and of course Eurovision Song Contest entries. I find any music is better than no music. I am having to get organised alone today as sadly my gran is very sick and so my dad along with his brother and sister are by her bedside. This makes for a bittersweet experience for my travels but dad has insisted I go and has assured me it is what my gran would have wanted. My bag is ready to be packed but requires for my items to be engulfed in sandwich bags first (a tip from my good friend and more experienced traveller Alisa). Alisa has also bombarded me with advice on how not to get stuff stolen or damaged and thanks to her I have my headtorch! I think all I'm missing is a ruddy taser gun! Anyway feelings just now are nervous, excited and a wee bitty emotional. Maybe I should turn The Carpenters off before I start greetin.
