Tears in my eyes, lots of goodbyes

UNITED KINGDOM | Tuesday, 16 April 2013 | Views [406]

Less than two weeks to go now!!

Flights, insurance, jags, course completed and passed, visa received, have left work, leaving drinks and have packed my room and moved back to mums! The last few weeks have been crazy busy but now it's time to relax :)

I'm heading south this week to catch up with family and friends in and around London, another chunk of difficult goodbyes.

The first of the goodbyes I said I was to my gorgeous wee nephews, the older of the two (is two and a half years) kept saying "Eddie's coming to Thailand on the ferry with aunty roof!" on the way to the boat back to the mainland, had me in tears!

i applied visa my Thai visa on Thursday, hoping it wouldn't take long, and not feeling keen about sending my passport away. But it was back within 48 which I still can't get over, very impressed!!

I met up with the two little girls who I had been looking after and their Mum, we had a nice lunch then, as with all the others, there was tears!

I had a great night out, the same day as I left the Body Shop. Lots of cocktails, and some dancing with friends. Great to see some special faces for one last night. Got to bed at four and was back up at eight trying to pack! Mum came and helped me move my bags out of dads flat so now, here I am, back home!

Lots of unpacking, and repacking to get done over the ndays few days :)

Arrived so quickly, well done Royal Thai Consulate!!
