Don't have much time to make this post and I think the power is going to cut any moment but here goes.
The last few days have been like a dream, only my dreams usually aren't good, and that it has been real. Two days ago I taxied to Bodnath with Nima. This is one of the largest stupas (Buddhist platform deals) in the world. Discussed Buddhism and Nepali culture with Nima and a shop owner named Lama. Moved on the Pashupatinath which is a very holy Hindu temple (non-Hindus are not allowed inside). Cremations were taking place. Good place to contemplate death. Also playful monkeys around.
Sorry I really can't do my time here justice and will have to post later when I have my journal in front of me; I was not planning on visiting an internet cafe today. Me and Helen, one of the others in my program, have been exploring the city on foot.
Later all, enjoy the photos.
