Roo Around The World

This past year I went travelling around the world, visiting Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and the USA. It was possibly the most incredible experience in my life to date and I had so many adventures in so many different places, so I wanted to cut a video of all the best bits of my year long adventure.
I studied Film at university, specialising in editing in my final year - I was editor on various projects, including documentaries, music videos and I cut number of promotional videos.
My ambitions are to be a travel filmmaker, making short films and promo videos around the world, really getting to the heart of a place and its people through the medium of film. Winning this scholarship would allow me to get a step up into this ever-growing industry and really start to make contacts which would enable me to do what I love.
