My Scholarship entry - Land of Mystery
Nepal | Monday, November 24, 2014 | 5 photos
I am Rusif Huseynov from Baku, Azerbaijan. I speak Azerbaijani (mother tongue), Russian, English, Turkish and some German. I am planning to learn more languages in near future to ease my next travels. Among my hobbies are collections of postcards and key chains from different countries.
Aged 27, I have already collected a wonderful experience of living and travelling in several countries across North America, Europe and Asia. I am one of those people, who do not just visit a country, but feels it, getting deeply interested in its history, geography, population, wildlife, cuisine prior to and after the travel. I ate sannakji (live octopus) in South Korea, found an error in information on the Last Supper by da Vinci in Casa Natale di Leonardo in Italy (I reported the museum curators that Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 silver coins, not gold as informed on their monitor screen), I climbed up the top of a hill in Nepal to pray in a Buddhist temple...
I plan to launch a travel website next year, therefore, I could promote Peru very eagerly in my home country and neighboring nations, where this Latin American land is known, but not to a great extent.
