My name is Ruchi and I from India. I realized my love for photography in my childhood beginning from as far as I can remember. As a kid I used to run around with a spare film camera, having no film in it, clicking randomly and getting no results! The passion continued with mobile phone camera and then a digital point & shoot and quite recently, a DSLR (In fact I borrowed a friends DSLR for these pictures I took last year).
Taking photos makes me happy, even if sometimes the pictures do not come out as wanted. I believe Photography is a way to show others what one sees in a scene while capturing it. The world can be as beautiful, wonderful and happy and as crude and real as one sees or wants it to be through this one eyed wonder! There is a lot that I have to learn to do justice to it.
I am a wanderer at heart with not many relevant opportunities; I love to travel/go places, meet people, get to know about them and their lives and experience their world.
This is why winning this contest is important for me. Doing what I love to, while learning what I want to, from someone like Mr.Jason Edwards, would be an amazing opportunity of a lifetime!
