Living the journey

Wakayama city

Well today (the first day of my looooonnnnnngggg weekend!) I decided to go and explore Wakayama central business district.  Not hugely exciting considering I'm on a long weekend however a bit of R&R was what was needed due to I've been working and partying pretty hard and the poor old eyes are screaming for sleep (if only there were more hours in the day!)  Had my first Japanese bath (oh the luxury of water!) and found out some hikes here in Wakayama prefecture - guess what I'm doing on my next long weekend!  Am busy trying to organise a game of soccer.  A different style of soccer - each team only has 5 players on it.  I want to learn how to play so what better way to learn right?!  Tomorrow Im off to a comedy show at a college (university) festival which might be entertaining - depending on how much Japanese I understand!

Found out I'll be heading back to Aus for a week in Jan.  A good friend is getting married and I REALLY want to be there for it.  So I'm busy looking for flights!

Apart from that life is fun and I LOVE teaching.  Keep smilin' everyone.
