My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

About the Photos:
My purpose was to capture the essence of the traditional quesadillas restaurants in Mexico City. When you get there the people are really warm, as soon as you get off the car and start walking to the multiple restaurants over there, every woman, mostly seniors, invite you to try their tasty food. Colours everywhere, Mariachi and great service are some of the Mexican’s restaurants characteristics, without forgetting the religious altar dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe, their protection.
About Me:
I’m Roxanna, 24 years old girl, Graphic Designer and Producer from Mexico. My first far away trip was Beijing about three years ago. I always wanted to go there, but I never realize I could really make it. In my head started the idea that if I wanted to go, it will depend only on me. So, to be honest I want to start over and learn photography. I heard about the contest, and I think this is the greatest way to learn! But once again I know my learning depends only on me, the contest is just the medium. Winning or not, there are more photographs waiting for me to make them come true in this “never-ending-on-course-photo-shoot” that we called world.
