Some of the buildings hold a heavy sense of foreboding... anonymity is dangerous attribute in this part of the world.

North of the boarder in Sri Lanka, people watch the passing vehicles anxiously. A necessary habit developed over a 25 year long war.

The density of vegetation played a key part in the fighting for both sides. It is now heavily monitored by the military with apprehension.
