My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

Australia | Wednesday, September 1, 2010 | 5 photos

i've chosen these pictures from a recent trip to the Northern Territory, Australia, because they capture a timeless eternalism juxtaposed with the road shots, which signature the contemporary means in which most of us move through the land. I am a practising visual artist and am passionate about the description of time and of the vulnerability of endangered species. I aim to punctuate my work with these aspects to highlight the footprints we leave as a species, to both inspire and educate, and to provide frameworks for consideration. I would feel incredibly privileged to be a part of this project, and to explore a way of working in this field. The camera is an amazing tool and I would love to be in a position where I can explore its potentials, and learn, in the field, with a professional.
